Recorded over the course of a year while living in separate locations, Seasons attempts to capture the essence of the yearly climate cycle of the planet Earth. The album was unique in that is was the first to be recorded by the two members of High Priest while not in the same location. Each song was recorded in the same season as it's title, requiring a full year to complete the entire project. Both Benjamin and Henry were living in distinct geographic areas of the United States for the duration of the album writing process. (Austin, Texas and Davis, California respectfully) Using a variety of live and digital instrumentation, each song was crafted to illicit the distinct aesthetic of each season.
